Finding Of The First Diary. A World Reborn.

30 Apr

As I looked on in awe at my surroundings an unfamiliar voice rang out from behind me.

“I’ve been waiting for you. I have been waiting so long, I thought that you may never show.”

My focus was now on this mysterious voice, one who’s owner was much too far away for me to make out who or what it was. I stood silent as it continued.

“But you’ve made it. You are finally here and now I can give you what I have waited so long to give. Please come closer, you have nothing to fear from me.”

Trembling as this voice beckoned for me to draw near and with the flashes of light intensifying I could finally make out the darkened silhouette of a cloaked figure in the distance. The space between us was so vast it seemed almost magical to me that it’s soft words could reach my eager ears so easily.

Shouting with what I had left after my struggle with the think pigment I exclaimed.

“I can’t, this mud, paint or whatever it is has me stuck. Please if you wouldn’t mind could you help, could you help me get free?”

There was a slight laughter upon it’s breath as it gently said.

“Of course.”

With those two simple words it removed an unknown object from it’s cloak pocket, spoke some words that still to this day remain a mystery to me, but at the very moment it spoke the grace of solid color flowed from underneath this unknown person. The sticky, melted world around me began to harden, trees of multiple colors sprouted out of the ground, as hills took shape and started their ascension towards the rainbow sky. The haze, darkness and scent of death vanished and were replaced with strange looking butterflies flying in massive swarms. the appearance of colorful dust fell from their rapidly flapping wings. Many landed on me and immediately flew away, leaving behind their little patterns of color. Using my fingers I dipped them into one of these little puddles left on my arm and to my surprise it as well appeared to be paint.

“What is this? What are those? How?”

I spoke out loud to myself. But before any comprehension as to what was right before me could settle in I was startled as the once silhouette of a shadow now stood before me.

“They are called Brushes, and they spend their whole lives here repainting this amazing landscape day after day, in an never ending cycle of true beauty. Their terrific, I can still remember the first time I saw them and this place.”

I could now very quickly come to the conclusion that this voice belonged to a female, but she stood there clocked with her head down still making herself unknown to me.

“I’m sorry!” I burst out interrupting what she was saying.
“Where are we? What is this place? Why are you waiting on me? Who are you?”

I shot off so many questions so fast I didn’t know what one she would answer first. She finally lifted her head and using both her hands she removed the hood that hid her so well. Her beauty froze every thought I had up to that point. Her long brown hair, hazel eyes and enchanting features captured my very attention.

“I am Destiny EverDream and it’s my honor to welcome you to the Painted Hills.”

Many things have happened in my life since the last update that have caused me to stay away for so long. But as with anything in life those things have come and gone. Destiny! Hey, Destiny are you ok?” I could hear this voice calling out
to me. A voice I’ve never heard before, a voice that seemed worried about me. I
may not have known this voice, but it definitely knew me.

“Destiny!
Can you get up? Destiny, please, we have to get moving!”

Can I get up? I thought to myself.

“I don’t think so.” I replied. All I
could do was lay there, my head throbbing, and my body in pain.

“This
ringing in my head, it hurts,” I finally said placing my hand to the back of my
head where I could feel the pain coming from. Obviously I’ve been hit, but by what
or even better who?

Good!
No signs of blood. I removed my hand from my head, and the stars, that just
moments ago, were swirling in front of my eyes started to…

Finding of the first Diary Remix (With artwork from TDOD)

29 Oct

Light barely broke the darkness as I lay surrounded by falling, crumbling, rocks. The hot breath of a dragon, in the form of an awaking volcano, rumbling me back to thought, after my unexpected escape from consciousness. The rays of Sunlight almost taunting, dancing freely into and out of what was my impending tomb…

My lungs drawing in hot, short, burst of air, trying their hardest to take in the last bit of remaining freshness still left around me. The ringing in my ears left little room for the horrid sounds coming from above my soon to be grave, as thoughts of family and friends raced through my mind, making sure to grasp the ones that have always meant the most. Darkness fell, I was truly alone, until a glow met my eyes… Continue reading

Finding of the first Diary (Part-6)

I could hear screaming, my eyes darted open. My senses were greeted by the overwhelming scent of death and paint, which seemed like a very strange combination. Making it to my feet was made increasingly difficult, an effect caused by some sort of multi-colored mud that I now found myself laying in. Finally standing, I had to take in a darkened landscape, who’s helpful light was blotted out by a twilight like haze covering its sky. Ankle deep, everything I could make out around me appeared to have melted, and flowed through this place like a river. Its thick yet sweet-smelling multi-colored mud upon closer inspection was in fact…paint.

“What is this?” I repeatedly said to myself,  holding my hand in front of my face, squishing the pigment between my fingers.

I could now tell for certain that this place in which I stand, was made entirely out of paint. A brilliant flash sparked off on the horizon behind a horribly melted looking hill, another strike followed that one. The first red, and the second orange. The hypnotic lightning would continue all around me in succession, until it finally delivered the spectrum of  colors in a rainbow…

Chapter 3: The Gift

Chapter 3

The Gift

       More
terrified now than ever before, I laid there for what seemed like years, when
in actuality it was just moments. I waited patiently for a sound that I was
hoping would never come . . . when it did.

          “In
the name of Jesus, girl, you ok? You just about sent this old man to meet his
maker,” he said with extreme concern etched upon his face.

          “I’m
sorry – I just sat down for a minute. I must have fallen asleep,” I lied,
clearly remembering that I hadn’t fallen asleep as I sat down; the vision
hitting me like a ton of bricks. I wished, now more than ever, that I had taken
the day off. Continue reading

My fifteenth Birthday Wish

         Dear diary,

“Well today I turn fifteen
and like always I have to spend it at school. I just hope I can make it though
the day without being bothered by anyone; I really don’t feel like hearing any
of their mouths today. That truly would be the perfect birthday gift.”

After I got ready I had already
decided to skip eating breakfast, this would only give my Mother, who I always
called by her name, Samantha, a chance to talk to me, and she was number one on
my list of people to avoid today.

    I
tried making my way out of the house unnoticed, but it didn’t work. My Mother
came stumbling out of the living room, pausing in the doorway between there and
the kitchen, wearing the same old pink and blue pajamas she’s worn for the last
several days. Seven thirty in the morning and her breath already smells like
alcohol.

She called me over to her, arms out as if
she was waiting for an embrace, as I tried to get past without a confrontation,
but she wouldn’t have it. She grabbed my arm as I tried to move her out of my
way gently. Continue reading

face started focusing and clearing.

No,
I definitely didn’t know him. He looked to be in his twenties, maybe even nineteen;
he was about six feet tall, with black hair down to his chin. My first thought
seeing his face is how incredibly handsome he was. His outfit really threw me
off though. I’ve never seen an outfit like his before; at least not out on the
streets, maybe in a sci-fi movie or something like that. It was pure black from
the top to the bottom, lined with silver down the seams, and, with what seemed
to be an eighty’s flash back, it was littered with what appeared to be zippers.

(If you have not read “Finding of the first Diary Parts 1-4” Please do so first!!!)

 September 7, 2011

Even if I had been screaming in pain, I wasn’t able to hear it. The crackling earth that rose above me could care less about compassion. The pressures within its mountainous cone had been building I’m sure for thousands of years, and it certainly didn’t care if some small, insignificant, human being lay in peril at its base. As the sounds grew to monstrous heights, my lack of hearing could do little to reduce my frightened nature. The overwhelming situation that I had purposely placed myself in had now become too much, my body and mind gave out, and within moments I found myself drifting away into a confusing, yet, peaceful dream…

August 25, 2011

It’s faint yellowish light entranced my vision, almost to the point of hypnotizing it. A feeling of hope washed over me, as a sense of calm cured me from within my very soul. The obvious concern that plagued me at that very moment seem to vanish, as this heavenly glow continued to light the darkness, as if not to leave me completely alone…

August 30, 2011

unfortunately, even the softly seen guardian angel couldn’t prevent the huge explosion that followed my tranquil excursion into peace. An eruption so loud that my hearing disintegrated. My eyes already to the point of bleeding from the hot ash finding its way in, felt as if they were about to melt and flow freely, like the lava I was so sure must lie just moments away from cooking me alive…
